• Amity Oil founder Peter Allchurch has resigned as an executive director of the Aussie company.
• Steve Hill has resigned his position as a vice president with Korean fabricator Hyundai Heavy Industries and has taken a role as executive vice president with Canadian fabricator Irving Shipbuilding.
• Malaysian oil services company Trenergy has appointed former Petronas group business development and planning manager Azlan Shairi Asidin as executive director.
• Miguel Bocco Jr selected vice president strategic development, Latin America, and William Boyle chosen vice president, North American and international, for Wood Group Engineering and Production Facilities, a division of energy services company John Wood Group.
• Curtis Carey appointed as the new chief of public affairs for the US oil and gas governing body Minerals Management Service.
• Jackie Cugnet appointed vice president, finance and chief financial officer for Calgary-based Questerre Energy.
• Nicholas Wemyss joins Canadian minnow Sine Energy as vice president, exploration. Also joining Sine are Rob McGrory as senior geoscientist and Bill Kosich as manager, drilling and completions.
• Tom Denison, Will Honeybourne,Tim Day and Mark Smith have resigned as members of the board of directors of Calgary-based oil and gas service company Destiny Resource Services.
• Thomas Sneed appointed chief information officer of Houston-based independent Marathon Oil, effective 1 September.
